Im in for a wired one..

Guys ..had a query..
I had one wireless remote...i forgot to remove the battery and it leaked...
now the remote doesnt start...can i get a play and charge kit instead of getting a new remote...?
Only the box in which we put in the battery has been damaged...not the controller..
what should i do?

I think that box is a part of the circuit. can't say for sure.
