The Latitudes I used (D600 and D610) had very poor displays, were ugly grey in colour and Doom3 would crawl with the Intel GMA 910 integrated gfx adapter. They were quite chunky too.

The keyboard and overall build quality were quite good though. All in all, it felt that it was designed with the sole purpose of being used by business people.

You can say that it does not look too good esp. for a home user. I mean, I don't know if the latest Latitudes can be used for gaming but if their past is to be considered, I would give this series a miss.

The Aspire 5920 weighs 6.6lbs, the M1530, <=6.0lbs !

Would the M1530 "feel" lighter than an Inspiron 1420?
