anyone here owns a Yamaha YHT-175 home theater systems. comes with "5.1 ch digital home theater receiver. 550w powerful surround sound (110wx5)"
a review and approx price would be helpful.

Yamaha receivers are decent but speakers absolutely suck. Stay away from any Yamaha HTIB. Get a receiver and real speakers .

it comes with Yamaha 5930 which is very basic and does not have various dolby/dts features.

Speaker sucks. IMO, one can go with Yamaha higher end model and better speakers

Built-in decoders: DTS 96/24, DTS decoder, Dolby Digital, DTS-ES decoder, Dolby Pro Logic II, Dolby Pro Logic IIx, Dolby Digital Surround EX

Anything missing here??!

Actually, I was considering it few months back and dropped it. If I remember correctly, 5930 does not have DTS 96/24 and various Ex options you have mentioned. Since, it was months back and you can refer to yamaha website for exact information.
