Done with Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes! It was so much fun to play a Lego game after a long time. As usual, there were plenty of hilarious dialogue exchanges between the characters (very good voice acting at that!) and the sequences. The news reporter, the humorous rivalry based interactions between Batman and Superman (looks like Batman hates him like crazy and yet cannot avoid him completely!), between Batman and Robin, hell even the Joker!

We could play as Batman, Robin, Superman, Flash, Cyborg, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman. There is a local co-op mode as well. 2 X360 controllers are supported and the controls are mapped by default. The second player can use the keyboard as well. Batman and Robin can switch to different suits from time to time so as to enable certain workarounds for solving a nearby puzzle. The soundtracks are the classic Batman soundtrack from the animated series.

All in all a very good game and enjoyed my playthrough while it lasted!

@Gannu: Your backlog list for the PC is almost done, well done bro!! Just one question though... when are you going to finally get to the Dragon Age series?

Nice!!
I need to try some Lego games too.

Juggling Deus Ex HR and Infamous both on PS3.

Oh yeah you can't miss Dragon Age Origins, play on PC. Can switch between Isometric and TPV.

Hahah you know what I was just thinking should I be beginning the Dragon Age series now. But I am pretty sure it might take up at least 20~25 hours for Origins and may be some 15~20 hours for Awakening? Not willing to take up Dragon Age II anyway since I was told that DA II wasn't as good as Origins or Awakening. I have made up my mind NOT to play an RPG unless it has a Metascore above 85%. RPGs take too much time and unless it is good, I shouldn't be wasting my time on those.

quixand: looks like you are attempting most games on the consoles now? Have you become a trophy whore? :P

Dragon Age Origins is just amazing.

And yes without a doubt Trophies make me happy. More than Steam or Xbox achievements. I just love it when trophies pop up. LOL.

Not that it was a conscious decision but I haven't played 1 ahem game for 9 months now largely due to the PS3. Still have major games like ME3, Batman AC, Skyrim and Saints Row 3 WIP on PC. No hurries there. :-)

I'm big on PC gaming, out and out graphics whore, but the best thing I did last year was not getting a second GPU for XFire and putting that money up to buy the PS3.

I just do not understand why Playstation India is sitting on its is A$$ and not getting more localized services to the console. No YouTube on PS3 is foolish. No browser on Xbox is foolish.

I mean we have MLBTV (major league baseball) streaming in HD on the xbox360 and both consoles can't stream IPL? YouTube has IPL live each year.

We have Video on demand and Showcase on TataSky, can't get it on Consoles?

Both consoles will always be just gaming devices, always.

Frame rates are killing me, but rest is good. Trophies, yes!

@Gannu: DAO is amazing. Play it and will not be disappointed I'm sure. Now is the time bro, with not many released remaining this month for the PC, plus I can see that your PS3 backlogs list is also close to getting annihilated!

Haha I can understand. I used to be a trophy whore once and stood at the 22nd of the list in the country. Now it has gone past 50 I guess. Can't devote more time for trophies now. :(

Dragon Age ORIGINS and AWAKENING in a totality will take ~40 --> 55 hours of game-time.

Do play all the DLC's, some are good... will list them --
Leliana's Song [back story of a party member]
The Stone Prisoner [adds a new party member and back-story]
Return to Ostagar
The Golem's of Amgarrak
Witch Hunt

Dragon Age 1 was a great game, but then BIOWARE had to make a hash of things with DA II.

The human noble Origin plot-line is the canonical version of the game [and has the most engrossing plot-line].

If you have not played this game, you missed some great times. This is technically one of the best story telling experiences for me [I find it more fun than Mass Effect but the combat is the regular RPG deal click-click on PC].

OR[/B] if due to the plot scenario he / she has been killed a brand new character is created in their stead.]

Hope you have fun in the land of Ferelden.

P.S. -- I played it on the PC and had bought the COLLECTOR's Edition, gave me all the DLC's for free and the original game + expansion [all in 999/-].

Hey thanks for the headsup Abhay. Will play it sometime this month. Just that boost I needed to take up an RPG now. And when I do, I don't want anything to come in the way!

No problems Gannu, just play the game and let us know what you felt about it.

It was one of those titles that forces you to fall for a genre OR completely snap out of it, I had played this in parallel with Mass Effect and somehow this registered a great interest whilst the latter completely felt lifeless.

Initially got a copy from a college senior but it was the original *AHEM* edition and playing as a rouge was hell [balancing issues] so had to drop the game mid-way, completed other titles in the meantime. Finally after postponing the decision for ~1 year saw that the Collector's Edition was ought, snapped it up and registered it and played it for a whole month [got through ~2 endings of ORIGIN's and continued in AWAKENING].

Before DRAGON AGE I was mostly an RTS person, after this there was no denying that RPG's are addictive. I had played only Gothic III DEMO [German guys who are behind Risen series] and had got smitten by the RPG bug but DRAGON AGE and The Witcher were the games which convinced me that I literally live, breathe and die for these story defined experiences.

Dragon Age Origins Was my First RPG game. At first it was like its soo big and then i couldn't stop myslef fro playing it. I've even completed all of its DLCs and Expansions. Storyline is great!
Gannu if you haven't played Origins. Nows the Time to start because the 3rd one is in Development!
Dragon Age III - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia :ohyeah:
I said that because the two games are huge! and you gonna wanna need some time off in between the titles. :bleh:

done with sniper eliteV2..actually have started the game a month back but left it as dint got the controls pretty much was not able to zoom in but saw a youtube and clicked my brain..... :p

If it is being developed as it currently being I would say it would be an epic PHAIL like DA II -- Why I Hope Dragon Age 3 Is A Lot Like Dragon Age 2 / Skyrim is the Wrong Place to Look for Dragon Age III Inspiration

Started Need for Speed: The Run.

I've never been into the NFS series but liked this one from the videos on Youtube and friend recommended so started it. I like it so far, kind of makes me remember the movie 'Vanishing Point'.

The only thing keeping me from playing Dragon Age Origins is the combat system, which I find to be really awkward, from the gameplay videos. :(

With so much offering uh..sheer pleasure of tremendous gameplay, storyline elements and heart touching moments i completed Mass Effect 3 clocking 35hours and 47mins of gameplay time and i still have no idea whether i should be angry or broken-sad with the ending. I have seen all the three and i am not satisfied. Guess now i finally know what so many other fans have felt. Aahh...I still dunno whether i wanna watch the extended cut or not. :(

EDIT:
Idiots could have added the extended cut DLC before hand rather than adding it later after so many remorseful replies from the fans. :@

I agree. When I first started the game the combat system really threw me off. I was frustrated with the point and click combat style in the game. It was kind of like playing NWN1. But after spending more hours into the game it felt easier. I think it was the sheer story that riveted me into the game strongly.
