I agree. When I first started the game the combat system really threw me off. I was frustrated with the point and click combat style in the game. It was kind of like playing NWN1. But after spending more hours into the game it felt easier. I think it was the sheer story that riveted me into the game strongly.
I always love a good storyline. However, the combat mechanics are equally important for me. These days, I seem to be less patient with games which don't have proper control scheme and/or a easily adaptable combat system. Part of the reason, why I'm hesitant to play The Witcher, despite loving the shit out of it's sequel. Not to mention, August line-up will kick-off soon enough. So no point in picking up any RPG's now, as they would need way too much time invested in them.
