Happens a lot. In fact I bought Persona 5 Royal after finishing Person 5 base game and its been 1 and 1/2 years since I last touched the game. I think games like Persona are best played on portable consoles or even laptops. Maybe try remote play to your phone or laptop maybe, should help.
 
After building my new PC, I have completed the following games:

1. God Of War: Ragnarok
2. Alan Wake 2
3. Bloodborne

Bloodborne was super short and overhyped (imho), but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Was gonna start Silent Hill 2 but bought NFS: Heat for pretty cheap so I'm playing through that rn

Thoughts on Limbo ? It's on apple arcade now so might upgrade just to play it

It's a nice short (2-4 hour) adventure/puzzle game. First half is very good but later on during the second half it gets a bit tedious. I would still recommend it.

It's a pretty old game but have heard a lot about it and it's 'Dark character ', plus it's short s might give it a go. Thanks.
 
Finished Ori and blind forest.
Stunning graphics and good music. I am not into platforming as such, but this was very good.
Strong recommend for anyone with a good HDR screen or save this until you have one maybe. I used reshade for it as there is no native HDR support. Sequel is even prettier it seems, but will save it for later.

Next, ugly looking Arkham Asylum :). Playing it with texture mods + reshade HDR.
Want to play Arkham knight, but will finish this and city first. Origins is pretty cheap now, but i am not sure if i want to play it. Arkham Asylum is showing its age but its early days, lets see ..

Mafia 2 has been on my list for a while, is it fun compared to GTA?

Story wise its one of the best i have ever played. But maybe its a bit conditional and depends on how much a player gets into it, i don't want to spoil anything else.
Mafia games are different from GTA, less of a sandbox and more of a story first + open city. It looked great in its time, but i played it many years ago.

I would say play mafia 1 (if you haven't) then 2, although there is only a slight link between the two from what i remember.

No. imo it was a big step down from Mafia 1 when it comes to the story and those DLC's are straight up cash grabs.
Mafia 1 Definitive edition is amazing in comparison, the Mafia 2 Definition edition is more of a remaster rather than a remake as well.

For me its vv, how its main story turned out might be something that i will always remember even though i usually forget these things even with the best of games.

Mafia 2 ending has a bit of a choice and consequence thing and there is a trigger that may or may not trigger you. If it does, then you get angry and subsequently things play out just perfectly. I don't think any game has done that for me. I have heard for others, spec ops did something similar ( but didn't for me as i did not understand what had happened and who did it. )

Without that, perhaps rest wasn't as good, i dont remember but think i liked it all. Did not play dlcs. Mafia 1 was pretty good too.

Do not compare the Mafia games to GTA. They are extremely special, especially when it comes to narrative. This alone makes you ignore some of the other shortcomings.

Definitely play 1 (Remake) before you play 2. The ending of 1 ties in nicely to the start of 2. Also, graphically, 2 is a huge downgrade compared to 1, which is an actual remake, so be prepared. Avoid 3. It was a PoS.

The top game I'm looking forward to next year, besides Doom: The Dark Ages is Mafia: The Old Country.
