I prefer games with good combat plus good storyline - but SMB 2 and of late Mario Wonder are two titles that have wowed me despite no real story

Well, I had completely forgotten about Halo!

It's a definitive draw for pos 1. I absolutely loved playing Halo: Combat Evolved.

The only time I actually liked having Cortana around.
