Generally beemers refer to BMW motorcycles and bimmers for cars.

It was more of a heart over head type of decision.

@ Vishal, no no ! No Lancer like videos of this one so soon. Need to get to know the car well enough yet, so much features and so many buttons, its confusing....:P

The English slang terms Beemer, Bimmer and Bee-em are variously used for BMWs of all kinds, cars, and motorcycles.

In the US, specialists have been at pains to prescribe that a distinction must be made between using Beemer exclusively to describe BMW motorcycles, and using Bimmer only to refer to BMW cars,in the manner of a "true aficionado" and avoid appearing to be "uninitiated."

Since we follow UK English, I guess we can safely use the English convention :P

Congrats Amey! Really awesome! Pune roads are not worthy of this car. The expressway would be heaven, I guess. I have so much fun in my dad's Optra, I can not even imagine what it must be like in a 5 series Bimmer/Beemer/whatever-the-hell-it-is-called :D
