Graphic Cards zotac 9800gt eco bought by mistake

Bought following from prime yesterday:
Vx450: 4k
Zotac 9800gt eco: Rs. 5325.00
Seagate 1TB 7200.12: Rs. 4050
OCZ 2GB 800Mhz Titanium C4 Latency: Rs. ~1650
Samsung 2233sw: 9k

As per all the suggestions, I have bought Zotac 9800GT for Rs. 5325.00, but the catch is that it’s an eco edition, which doesn't require 6-pin connector and runs at 550mhz core and 1800mhz memory clock, i.e. it’s an underclocked 9800gt, I guess I will not be able to overclock it. What say?

Zotac 9800GT AMP edition is not available anywhere in Lamington Road, so if prime agrees, should I go with Palit 9800gt or any other make? Or any other card in same price range? I think this eco edition isnt vfm...

I have done a clean install of latest drivers (version 190.62). Any suggestions?

edit: the new card u suggest (nvidia only) should fit into my generic iball cabby :(

now, my specs are:
C2D 2.66ghz
intel dg33fb mobo
trans 2gb + ocz 2gb (both 800mhz)
1tb + 250gb seagate
samsung 2233sw
basic iball cabby
vx450
 
Go to prime and tell ur problem about card if prime agree then get Palit 9800Gt or XFX,EVGA (if price is not more than ur budget )

i wud prefer palit 9800gt if its reliable...n cheaper thn xfx

my "last" option wud be palit gts 250 if its arnd 7.2k....

hows palit?

Can u pls tell me ur budget ???

Edit:-

EVGA 9800 GT SC Super Clocked = 7500

Palit 9800GT 1GB DDR3 PCI Super = 6650

Palit GTS 250 512 MB DDR3 = 7375
 
i can say my max budget is upto for gts 250, but wanna avoid tht coz i want to softmod my card, n heard tht 9800gt is better option 4 tht.

whts the price of Palit 9800GT 512 DDR3?

Any reason not going for ATI?

They perform equally good and drivers support is also very good.

Palit 9800GT 512MB DDR3 = 5650

Instead of palit 9800gt go with EVGA 9800 GT SC Super Clocked ...

I have some bad experience with my Palit 4850 Sonic (RMAed 5 times) ...

U can softmod on EVGA also ....

+ EVGA 9800Gt is OCed ....

If u not agree then go with Palit 9800gt 512 Mb (Sasta aur Mast)

I just started using the Palit GTS 250 (1gb) and would say it's a darn good card. I just played Crysis today and it was awesome, ran butter smooth. In my case though I upgraded to the GTS 250 from a 9500 GT, so I noticed the performance difference even more.

Excellent buy.

If check some reviews, you'll see that the 9800GT ECO or green versions can be easily oCed to at least 700MHz core and more than default shader speeds of the non-eco cards.

And the performance difference between the ECO and non-ECo is barely anything.
