@madnav, please consider me for one of the screengaurds, if you do plan to sell them ..

I am interested in a pouch/cover too for the phone, if anybodys planning to get it shipped from UK, please let me know.

Can you combine two purchases together? Like the phone and screen protectors so you save on shipping? Otherwise Aramex will charge $10 for shipping the protectors.

those are not shipped by aramex, they ship directly to india for .7 pounds..

total comes just above 400 shipped for 6 :p

can be if ordered from the same source.

aramex wont do that for you if they receive them as two separate orders.

currently im working on weight cutting.

have asked friend to remove all manuals so that both fones can weigh under .5KG :p

would it be wise to get both fones in same box? (very much possible.)

i guess customs may have issues...

I have placed order on play.com for white model with my Indian credit card this morning. I would have preferred black though but white is also ok. (I have sent them a request that if they have black also in stock, please send me the black one).

Lets see if gets shipped or the order is canceled.

BTW, the amount shown by Citibank is Rs 6,964.40 after converting 99 pounds.

Billing address - I think Aramex (will have to check, what did I mention).

Shipping to - Aramex.

I placed order at 07:55 AM and I got an email and SMS from Citibank at 11:32AM "Rs 6,964.40 was spent on your Credit Card XXXXXXX on 24-DEC-10 at PLAY.COM.

Just now saw your PM, thought of replying here so that other TE members will also know.

Edit: In order status at Play.com, it is showing "Packing".

I tried placing the order with Aramex address as billing and shipping, even completed the Verified by Visa step, but later got an SMS from ICICI saying the transaction was declined due to Security reasons. :( Also got a mail from Play.com saying my card was rejected.

I again tried with my ICICI debit card as well and completed the Verified by Visa, amount was not deducted. Order status shows as Procesing.

Let my order get shipped, no point taking risk. It should be shipped today or tomorrow (if they are working on X-mas).

I will keep updating the order status on this thread.

Well, I can't say that confidently. Read the specifications and reviews at Play.com then my idea is as good/bad as yours. :)

In worst case, even if it is TFT, I don't mind. I am a Blackberry user and will be for my primary phone, this is time pass (and my 2nd phone). :)

^ The White version is definitely TFT. The OLED version of the same was never available.

Aramex is really pissing me off.

Status is Shipment out for delivery since 1:30pm.

Just called them up and they said it'll be delivered on MONDAY now WTF.

Guys!!!

I need one screen protector badly, the flimsy plasticy cover is coming out, hate it, these manufacturing companies cant even put a proper cover in place when they know the screen is prone to scratches ... guys any other screen protector I can use with the phone or any other temporary solution?

^ Get the Samsung OMNIA i900 Screen Protector from a local shop. It fits perfectly. :p
