Sorry for the late reply, checking TE forums after a break.. - Bought from Indiatimes Shopping for Rs 5740/- (after discount). Flipkart was not delivering to my area, hence went with Indiatimes Shopping. BTW, I see that its even cheaper now. - Rs 400-500ish - No. Happy with my purchase!

Finally bought HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3515. I don't see myself going down CISS DIY route. This printer's AirPrint, Wireless direct printing and Wireless network features have been a good fit for my set-up at home. Print quality is adequate too.

@Praks - So what have you bought finally? DIY route for CISS looks too complicated for Canon. Thinking of calling it a day and buying HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3515 finally. At least this has a number of people vouching for it in flipkart.

Because of availability of AirPrint, Wireless network, CISS & Fax, I am leaning towards 'Brother MFC-J430w'. My only fear now is print quality. I could not find any sample printouts in internet review though, that could help me make my decision.

Have been reading online reviews of 'Brother MFC-J430w'. Is it true that print quality is not very good? There are also concerns about paper jamming and extra pages being pulled. Also I am wondering whether its wireless abilities could even serve my setup. My setup is as follows - Netgear...

I had almost finalized Epson L210 for myself, but now I am having second thoughts. Reason - I think this has only USB connectivity. No Wifi or printer sharing over network possible. Please correct me if I am wrong.

You are taking this too seriously. Just buy and use a washing machine plastic cover and keep WM outside. I have my earlier IFB WM for many years like this and now keeping my new Bosch this way. No problems.

I am surprised. The Bosch engineer who came to install my machine said that no descalar required. Instead, he advised me to use vinegar after 6 months or so. How much did the powder cost?

Finally ordered from shopping.indiatimes.com with 7% discount on MRP of 31.9K. This was the best deal I could get online.
