In terms of % increase it is not much but increase in warehousing fees plus increase in service tax etc takes it to around 10% to 15% w.r.t earlier prices
 
UPA's 3rd birthday gift to citizens. Petrol price hiked by 7.50/- which will be effective from tonight.

Thank god i filled up car tank (50lts) in the afternoon.
 
i forsee ... i will take to cycling , time to convert to CNG , this is madness , Down congress ,
yawn , this was long overdue
 
UPA is going to be dead.

I hope other states follow Goa governments reduction in taxes. Greedy state governments like the one in karnataka never reduce the state tax,petrol will now cost around 83 in bangalore.
 
i was so happy tht i wud strt my college life once again and wud drive my classic 500 around .. but this news .. F%^&$@#$ .. luking fr a second hand cycle now:O .. wud use the bull only wen hot chicks wud be moving around .. :angel:
 
BJP who is opposing this and asking for rollback should look at Karnataka where they are ruling. No point blaming govt and parties. All fall in same category.

filled up my rtr 180 with full tank of fuel, shelled out 900rs:bomb:
damn these govts.......... petrol rate in Karnataka is more than any other states in INDIA:|.
why don't they bring a new law about uniform tax rate on these commodities.............
 
Have two bikes in India, time to sell one of them.
Have to inculcate the habit of walking so i don't need vehicle for shorter walkable distances. This is insane price hike.
Any way to put CNG on bike ? :p
 
All the political parties are same. Instead of figuring out long term effective solution, those money-grabbing jackasses just take short cuts like this to pacify the economic crysis. At the end, they will claim the fuel bills be it 5k or 5lakhs :bomb:
adder don't even start on Karnataka govt. buddy. Road tax, fuel tax, all kind of taxes are multiple times than those of other states. :mad:
 
The problem with rollback will be that say if they rollback they will increase again after few days but for like 3-4 rupees and at that time people will think "Instead of 7 only 3 Rs increased, so it is better" :mad:
