4* Win 8 key for 900 bucks from Dreamspark

Hi
After sharing the deal of Office 2010 for 500 bucks we have the Win 8 key and other MS software for one year for 900 bucks . Same was also available last time when Win 7 was launched and that time 4 keys of each were there but this time 2 keys only

Please note
This is for students , faculty and institutions .
This is not a discussion between Win 7 and Win 8 keep that in other thread .
Theres a dedicated thread of same .
Its a legal key no piracy and you can use to install 10 times with it , after that call MS and get the activation code.

Again for clarification
The software you download from DreamSpark can be used forever. The 24month policy is so you can redownload the software and get the license key in case you lose the iso or product key when you first download it. When the 24 months is up they wont let you redownload the software/product key, if you already have it backed up then you are good. If for some reason you lose your software/product key you can ask them to let you redownload it for a fee. YOUR SOFTWARE DOES NOT EXPIRE UNLESS IT IS SPECIFICALLY STATED IN THE SOFTWARE

Windows 8 is new and just recently available through ACM's MSDNAA access.
It takes about 4-5 business days to get full access after paying for membership. There is also tons of other MS software available such as Windows Server 2012.
It took me 7 hours to get the username and password on email today on a holiday .

sign up and ACM will send you log-in information- then you will have to wait till ACM lets you opt-in for MSDNAA membership --- it will take approx. 1 to 2 days --- to check if you can "opt-in", log in to "MyACM" and under the "My Services" tab you will find a light blue box saying "Access ACMâ€™s Student Academic Initiative (SAI) Programs: Developer Academic Alliance (formerly MSDN AA), Sun Academic Initiative, and CA Academic Initiative" --- click on "Developer Academic Alliance" link in this box and if ACM has already processed your payment, you will be able to "opt-in" (however, you do not have to wait for the payment processed email ACM will sent you)- once you "opt-in", MSDNAA will send you their log-in info within 24 hours , you will be able to log-in here http://e5.onthehub.com/WebStore/ProductsByMajorVersionList.aspx?ws=7bac12f0-9f9b-e011-969d-0030487d8897&vsro=8&JSEnabled=1 and download your software

5. Afterpayment confirmation screen will come . Keep it safe and open a web account and opt in Dreamspark/MSDNAA

It doesnt ask Faculty Advisor and Student ID in your Student Profile , thats the US site which asks

Note
-- x86 and x64 keys are same . Can be used on same iso
-- All language keys can be used on English ISO . Means Chinese/Dutch/French 32bit or 64 bit keys can be used on English iso (x86/x64)
-- ACM signup on US now says in red in the form that Dreamspark Premium is not available through this membership. Indian signup still has it . Confirm its there and make a screenshot of same while taking new membership for proof

Then follow these steps to add the key to your Win 8 install

Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.

Enter add features in the search box, and then tap or click Settings .
Tap or click Add features to Windows 8 and then do one of the following:
If you need to purchase a product key, tap or click I want to buy a product key online.
You will be prompted through the steps to buy a product key from there and it will be entered for you.

You get two licenses only if you signup for IEEE right? ACM seems to be offering only one license.

I have a small doubt here, my college has an account with IEEE and everytime I use college Wifi to browse IEEE it automatically logs int.
Can I use that and get the key?

In case somebody is getting 2 keys & interested in selling 1 of them, I would be interested in sharing the costs if the Win 8 DVD is also thrown in

yes you can download but if its a common username and password for all than somebody must have downloaded and used the key . Might be college itself , if its available use the key or ask the administrator to give you a new account of the same . you have already paid for the login in your fees

Subscription expiry doesnt affect the keys , they are lifetime , after expiration you cannot download iso and keys again from ACM/email so make a backup of iso and keys

No office 2010 for that use myspace thing for getting it for 450 bucks , link in thread . As always x64 and x86 keys are generally same . Can confirm the same for win 7 and office 2010

Wont microsoft help me in giving a new key when the need arises after an year . Dont want to rely on advance token manager . Still a good deal

Good Information. I have couple of clarifications needed :

The Picture 8 it shows extended access for 24 months. That means you will get access to the website for 24 months after that you need to renew your membership ?
Membership of the site will not affect the software that you purchased using this accounts , if you take backup of the ISO's and keys ?
You can only purchase one license/keys of all the software per login/membership ?
Since Windows 8 retail copy is not release how come it available for student ? Is this final release copy or consumer release candidate ?
