English TV series discussion

I couldn't understand why there was a need to kill that girl. I have not read the comics but does it have this?
Ending was perfect and i felt the finale was trimmed off with most of incidents occurring in No time. The people in the camp just obey the orders of some stranger who was in few days back, I was WTF.
In the comic, apart from a few people that leave beforehand, everyone except Rick and Carl die. The girl and Lori actually have it the worst. The governor shoots Lori through the baby in her arms.

I think the girl may be alive in the TV show. Tyrese might have saved her. Can't say for sure though.

The Blacklist is getting more and more awesome. It started out as pretty good and has now become must watch
Yeah, the latest episode really opened the story up, maybe hinting at the main adversary of the show. At this point I think its already better than PoI even though it too is at a high point.

Done watching The Wire. One of the best shows i have watched. Cant believe it hasn't won any awards. The consistency in story, acting, character development in all the 5 seasons was just superb.
Like the fact that it relies more on story, realism rather than cliffhanger moments that we are so used to watching in recent TV shows. Some people complain it being slow, but for me the pace was just perfect. Took almost 3 months to complete it. Was worth it

Any other suggestions. Thinking of watching
Homeland
Six Feet Under

utterly disappointed with james spader in the blacklist , his acting is nowhere near what it was in Boston Legal

Relieved to see the story is picking up pace , not sticking to pilot forever

What are you talking about. He is portraying the carefree exterior yet a man with a mission personality effectively. And that self assured composure mixed with witty banter is invigorating.

U mad ? season 1 was ok and had a little of that realistic feel but now it's a family drama with no sense of direction. I stopped watching earlier this season, please post here when Dana has been shot dead or something.
Dana isn't in the spotlight anymore. The first 4-5 episodes revolved round her. After that it was Carrie, Peter Quinn & Saul.

i stopped watching it in the first episode itself..
the moment i saw that lady popping xanax(or watever that was) every 15 min i knew this show is gonna cause nothing but frustration :p

The past two episodes of Homeland have been very nice and fast paced and are bringing the story back on its original path i.e. CIA/terrorists/plots etc. The few boring episodes in between were somewhat required as a build up to what is happening now. I feel that the Dana issue was stretched a bit too much but am not complaining anymore.
