Although I am not really in market for a car, I am extensively checking websites like Team BHP and Automotive forums India and read various threads that catch my eye. I am in general also checking other random websites.
One thing i saw at some places is that people generally do not suggest others to go for a USED Automatic.
Now i would really love to buy an automatic but plonking 7-8L on a brand new especially for a first timer like me is a very big deal and I have to think 100 times before spending that kind of money. Also I am a non driver, I will even need to take a driving class before i can get behind the wheel. Basically a car noob.
So this brings me to another and sometimes better looking option of getting a used car. I know many people make this statement that i will first get a used "Haath saaf karne ke liye" and once I am used to driving a car, i will get a brand new car sometime later. I also think it this way only.
I love the convenience of automatics and would any day prefer them. So basically, why are used automatics not really suggested and if I really want to go for used automatic car to save money and such then what all things I need to check.
I am not talking about really old automatics like Honda city 1st gen from 2003 (you see a lot of these on olx and such for like 1.5-3L Rs) but the newer ones like Astar automatic and such.
