Yup! not just these shopping offers, during festival times also FK jacks up prices. I track prices on Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal (with a tool) and FK price change is significant. Amazon varies the price a lot, but diff is less.

any good mobile offers right now, dang feeling pissed off when payment got failed twice when trying to purchase the Lumia 1o20 and then refreshed to find OOS and alter discontinued :mad:. idiots :mad:

Nexus 5 deal should have been on the hourly deal by now. They should put it for 20k. they did put it on deal for 22k. :(
 
I have a feeling they will cancel mine as well, product is no longer in stock and price as gone up by 4k/card. Waiting to see how lame an excuse they can give....

Too bad, was hoping to upgrade from my 6970s for a nice low price.

In case you don't know what the Big Billion Day Sale is about - Flipkart aims to do business of more than 1 billion in one day on 6th October 2014. We are not sure if Flipkart has already achieved its sale target by 2pm but most of the deals will not be processed anymore. At approx. 2pm, seller accounts of third party vendors on Flipkart have been put as pending i.e no more orders will be taken for the day and products will now show the status as 'out of stock'. A few selected deals will continue to be listed, but essentially the sale is over

Flipkart has understood Indian buyers' mentality well. There is no brand loyalty in e-Commerce space, or any retail space for that matter. People will move towards the cheapest option they can find for their needs. Discounts and sales are the only things that attract customers. That's the only way to make sure that customers buy what they don't need, forcing them to make an irrational choice. You may think you are a smart buyer, and may actually be one, but there are thousands of those who are not as smart as you.

I am busy recharging my phone number for 20 Rs by paying 1 Re (multiple times). Thanks to Freecharge :p
Till now recharged for around 140 Rs by paying Re 7 out of pocket.
