There's not much you can do. Wait it out, it should get released. What kind of product is this if you don't mind sharing? What is worrying me is, it says it's being detained for unspecified reason twice in a matter of couple of days.
Nothing questionable. The item is wireless extender - so looks like a router. It costs only 40 USD.

It has cleared customs and had been sent to delivery station.
Whatever we say, its always exciting to receive a packet from another country

Shouldn't have got stuck. Maybe its just heavy load. Wait it out and it should get released latest by next week IMO.

Did you try checking the tracking status through Indiapost website?
wtf. But how will they track this 4 times a year number? will they store every address and then calculate ?

But till date none of my AE shipments got ever mentioned as gift so how exactly will it affect?
Undervaluing is fine but it cannot be termed as gift. Gift means something for free irrespective of the declared value.
Now for gods sake this pathetic govt shouldn't come with a new rule such as only items up to 10k can be gifted and anything above it will be taxable. Then ever actors will only be able to gift something cheap anr desi. Imagine salman gifting fast track watch to srk and etc.

Guys does it makes sense ordering baking trays etc from AE weighting 900 gms to 1kg (after packing)

That will come in a large box from the looks of it. Don't know but might draw attention. It's always best to keep it to smaller sized items. Just my 2 cents mate.
I did. The info is all contradictory across multiple sites. It has been "released by customs" The package is in Delhi now. Can't wait

It seems my package is going to be custom checked in Mumbai as now the status as
MUMBAI FOREIGN POST OFFICE Send item to customs (Inb)
So no customs check happened in Kolkata but will happen in Mumbai. Lets see.[DOUBLEPOST=1544893588][/DOUBLEPOST]Another Update, it "appears" to have cleared the Customs in Mumbai now. Don't see any message which says it "cleared customs" (not sure if there has to be one) but seems like it has. I am not yet sure if I will have to pay anything. Will get to know when post man comes. Sometimes when the shipment arrives at Customs of one place and then gets shipped to another state the updates get all messy with India Post with not the most accurate reflection of tracking details. In any case, I don't think there will be duty but you can only know once the Postman arrives with the package! Do keep us posted.

Guys last night received the below response for a refund... Plz go through the conversation.
The seller is asking to re-order and saying something related to Offline logistics ow what is that?
He is also asking for my PayPal account which I dont have.
And why should I even provide a Paypal when I paid via ICICI CC?
Cant seller refund directly into my ICICI a/c?
Guys need help in refund matter then I will reorder via another seller.
Just ask seller to refund to original mode of payment as paypal is expensive and has many fees. Seller will probably ask you to raise dispute - so raise dispute.
