AMD 6000 series graphics cards

I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of games partnered with specific gpu company for performance boost. I prefer all gpu performance access across all games. I know I might be the only one on this.

Honestly from my experience in almost all games where AMD is partner, they perform equally well for Nvidia too if not better. Nvidia optimized title on the other hand have very poor performance on almost everything, specifically AMD.

AMD 5900x is priced at $549 US and in india it will be around 50k inclusive gst. so as per this we can get the RX6800XT within 60k as 100 usd plus gst won't cross 10k inr, If I am not wrong :angelic:

Apples and oranges! AMD sells CPUs directly while GPUs come through third parties like Sapphire/Powercolor/MSI/Asus etc. Distributors for the latter end up overcharging.

Yea ! that's also true but if amd have given the official pricing how does this effect the FE for AMD ?

Nah, i am past doing help for people. Ungrateful lot we have. Past experience tells me it is useless to help people.
Are you gonna help me then :angelic: I am a good guy
Stocks issue for reference cards incoming as per ASUS ref. now we really need to find a way to get one of this

The funniest part is them using low spec games like Fortnite and CSGO lol. These two always seem to get a lot of mentions.
Majority of the gamers don't give a F is what they think which is also right as not a lot hard that kind of hardware before and are only familiar with this one I suppose :tearsofjoy:
I am more worried about getting finding a card then that of the fps thing as beyond 144fps will make no sense. if the card can deliver 144fps @ 1440p or above in constant, I am happy guy :angelic:

Now the question I need answers:

1) Should I go with reference design or wait for 3rd party cards !
2) If reference, Will I be able to buy one on 18th Nov, 2020 in morning ?

Is there any possibility in india low prises after 3 month ?
5900x is available at 49,600 in SP Road on booking today, so you should be able to get it at a slightly lower price in 3 months.
Graphics cards, only lord knows.

I was wondering if we could group buy 6800XT from RpTech, like if 5 or more of us are interested.
They don't sell individual cards and pointed me to a preferred dealer.

@chetansha - If you stumble across any group buy for 6800XT from USA, 2 are ready I suppose, although it may be quite difficult with all the limitations imposed by retailers.

as said in OP, most of the local shops are trying to push with other bundles & not selling CPU alone. hope this takes at-least couple of weeks to pile up & not sure they will reduce the price, until Intel plays some market change.

1. No one knows how either of them will fare. Since there's no actual third-party benchmarks and thus no comparison between the two.
2. If you are serious about it contact AMD India and negotiate with them.

I would rather wait for the actual benchmarks by users. I know amd has beaten nvidia to pulp but guys amd is no where close to nvidia drivers. So hold your horses before pre ordering. Lot of old cards has driver issue leading to black screen frequent crashes.

The only Issue I have is that the hackintosh don't support NVIDIA else NVIDIA is the way to go. dual GPU is something I am not aware of for Hackintosh and Don't want to make it complicated.

Lets hope we can get hands on something for good !

Black looks Dope. Sad its only OEM Version :bawling:

Sapphire is out with design

OMGWTF! Hope it won't be true.
So the PCMR guys say this should be normal for a high end premium version. At least those with 1000W+ PSU owners will now be able to put their PSU to full use lol.
