Magzter Gold subscription Sharing - Rs.500 for one year

I'm considering getting myself a 3 year subscription, because I don't see digital content getting any cheaper, and Rs.4000 for 3 years sounds like a really good deal.
I was just wondering on how many devices I can use 1 account? I've got a desktop, laptop, and a mobile. Can my wife use my account on her mobile? Is it like Amazon Prime Music, where only one person can stream music at a time?
I was also wondering if they keep changing the newspapers and magazines they offer. A few months ago JioNews used to have a great selection, but a lot of publishers have abandoned them now.
Are there any risks to sharing a family plan? And does anyone want to pool in for a 3 year subscription?

Family plan works like apple family sharing etc wherein everyone is separate and have individual accounts. We took 1 year for now since we want to first see if we like the service and whether it is useful enough and do we even read so much. Rs. 500 is actually a good deal (per person for 1 year plan) and we can explore the app and its offerings.

Just to help you better, please be aware many magazines are Geo Locked (E.g. US Weekly) and VPN does not work to access them. Instead you have to change language / region of your device itself. I did that and it worked fine. Previously I could not access US Weekly and after changing region to US, I was able to access it.

Also some magazines are preview only and don't have full magazine and can only be accessed if you actually buy the individual magazine. This s true even if ou have the Gold subscription.

And one more thing, check the spoiler...

The app does have magazines like Playboy and many other adult ones but all are censored.

Could you check and let me know if you'll get the full editions of -
Newspapers
The Times of India
Business Standard
Hindustan Times
The Indian Express

Indian Magazines
Forbes India
The Week
National Geographic India
Business Today
Fortune India
Outlook Money

International Magazines
Popular Science

I think all of them are included in the subscription, and even if we just read the newspapers it's a good deal.

I won't ask you about the 'mens' magazines - looks like you've checked out all of them! ;)

3 years, with family sharing, Rs.153/month if I go it alone, and just Rs. 30/m if I can share it.

That was quick! Thanks.
I think there's some pretty good content on the site, and I'm going to subscribe for 3 years. Does anyone want to share it with me?
I am in
Plz correct me if i am wrong...
i believe if 5 people will subscribe for the 3 year plan it will come down to 750 per person {edit it ll be 800 per person} as the 3 year charges are 3999

No. 3999 for individual account but 1500 additional to get family sharing. So total would be 5.5K I guess.

The 1 year plan I am part of is 1999 + 500 to enable family sharing so 2500 /5 = 500 per person for one year.

@JMak @ch@ts Let me know if you guys decide to go for another subscription. I am in for one slot, whether it's one year or three.
Tinkle magazines and Tinkle Digest issues available are more than worth the subscription amount. Would like to gift the subscription to my nephew.
@Striker10 was left out of the previous group. I guess he'll be interested to be part of this next group.

I used to subscribe digit long back. Like hard copies. I didn't know that there are still indian tech magazines which I discovered here. I am having fun finding new Mags to read.

Is there a way to bookmark a magazine brand, as in not a specific month but say "T3 India" magazine as a whole so when new issue comes I get to know somehow.

The iOS app has a tab called "My Collections". Under this tab, there is another tab called "Favorites". When you 'star' any issue of a magazine, the magazine automatically shows under this favorites tab.

1. @ch@ts
2. @JMak
3. Myself

4. @Striker10 ??
5. ???

Thanks for the flashback. Their Anniversary issues were a must buy and they were a boon in those times when Internet speeds were dial-up. Nowadays the internet boom has spoiled the elements they provided way back. Anyway reading the physical issues are so much better than e-mags, the feel of it is amazing. The collection clutter they leave upon purchasing for years is however an eyesore.

How do you guys read these which you have subscribed? We use Tabs for light read.

Didn't get what your last question meant there. Magzter is for eMagazines so we read on tablet directly.

@ch@ts and @Striker10
Kindly post here for confirmation if you are willing to be part of the group.

If both of you are ready then we ll be left with just one slot, so if anyone else is willing then please post here.

@logistopath I am sending you a pm sharing my mobile number, kindly form a whatsapp group if you are okay with it..would request @ch@ts to also do the same provided he is willing to share the mobile number and is comfortable becoming a member of the group ...

Lets hope the @Striker10 replies with affirmation and does the same so that the subscription can be started as the offer is valid for another 48 hrs I guess.

Thanks
