Your Gaming Backlog/Progress Report!

Shadow of the Tomb raider was the last game that i enjoyed playing. Afterwards i have tried Metro exodus, RDR2, Forza horizon 4, Days gone. But in none of the games i could go beyond 1-2hr. Some say its a feature of depression, while some say its my brain readjusting the priorities when you age. I would like to try Call of Duty Modern warfare 2019 as a last try but hesitant due to aforesaid reason.

A lot of the futuristic CODs and mediocre ones like WW2 and Ghosts just didn't do it for me.
MW 2019 was the first COD I played since Black Ops 1 and I had an absolute blast. Yes, the game has issues but the animations, sounds, singleplayer and MP are just top notch and Warzone seasons 1 & 2 were just the icing on the cake, it was the most fun I had with friends online in ages.
That being said, it's now a bit late to get into the MP as well as Warzone since it's filled with either sweaty tryhards or cheaters who play it 24/7 plus it doesn't make sense to buy the game at its current price.
Just put on your pirate hat and play the SP, personally i'm looking forward to MW2 2022 which is 99% confirmed.

P.S. I played the Vanguard open beta over the weekend and it's absolute dog shit, even the sub standard Black Ops : Cold War shines in comparison.
Some say its a feature of depression,

It could be that, it also could be that games just aren't made with that special ingredient anymore, the publishers are just out to extract as much money from the player which makes the games grindy and seem like a waste of time.
It's more difficult to find games like TW3, Nier:Automata, Talos Priciple etc nowadays

Why didn't I think about it. I also find it very hard to find a game which gives me that "feeling" these days. I've played all borderlands series tying to find that feeling. Recently played control but it hardly gave me that joy. Like you, I also start a game and then just drop it after an hour or two. I have got one of the best configuration one could ask for. Don't know what's going on.
while some say its my brain readjusting the priorities when you age
This definitely could be the reason with me.

I'm having a peculiar issue. The XBOX360 games such as Dante's Inferno and Brutal Legends that are available on Game Pass, fail to load. When I try to launch them, the game's wallpaper thingy opens up for 5 odd seconds or so and then it reverts to home screen. M trying to play them on my Series S. Was initially launching them from my external SSD but then moved them to Internal storage, still the same result. Rebooting the console, un- and re- installing them had no effect either.

I have the same issue. Games I enjoyed while younger just dont seem to hold my interest anymore. I have moved to more strategy type games and really enjoy them. Civ 6, Total war series etc.

I also really enjoyed Horizon Dawn, BTW, it had an excellent story arc and lovely gameplay. Am trying to get into RDR2, but I just find it way too slow at times.

Took the plunge and bought Warzone/modern warfare 2019. Its 233gb btw :bored:
@mav2000 I am about to try MW 2019 campaign. Probably could be the last video game in my life.

I have played quite a lot games since made my desktop last year. Cyberpunk, assassin creed, dirt rally 2.0, dirt 5, the division, forza horizon4, sniper elite (all series), tomb raider (leaving the last one), battlefield 1, battlefield 5(just downloaded), gta 5 and will be playing a lot more and also bought xbox game pass ultimate. Started playing games since 2019 i.e. After 12 years almost and a whole lot playing since last year.

I have started in the year 2000. Biomenace in win 98 was the first game that i completed. Back then games were mostly trial versions. Having the full version was a luxury. The only source to get a pc game was through someone buying thinkdigit magazine , only a few had multimedia PCs back then. I was gifted tomb raider 1 disk by a cousin from abroad. I was stuck in level 1 cave for 2 years till the next time my cousin came and showed the way out.

I played doom first in my cousin's college(NSIT) computer LAB at midnight on 21 inch monitor. I kept on playing for like 2-3 hrs. Before that used to play on sega consoles. Got my first pc in 2004 i guess and then started the counter strike till college ended and after that ended the gaming time and now it comes again. Yeah.

Started playing games on the PC in the early 90's with prince of persia and by the time we were in our early teens, leisure suit larry was out...i dont know how many of you remember that game

I have close to 50 backlogs on steam I haven't got time to play but I started playing God of War series on RPCS3 and holy cow they're easily one of the best games I've ever played. The story, lore, gameplay, everything is so good even though these are 17, 12, years old games.

Highly recommend.

Yes indeed, GOD OF WAR series is on a whole different level of gaming.

GOD OF WAR 2 and the GOD OF WAR (PS4 one) are the best of the series.
