Recall getting this for as little as 1500 back in early 2010 era (lower for non mint condition), but still didn't choose it due to the trash movement. And now.... Buy good quality used, or wait for availability on official site.
All other are fakes.

Avoid Amazon and eBay, they are mostly franken-ed watches. If you are in Bangalore, just walk into their Jalahalli showroom, they usually have a couple in stock.

Finally got a call from the Rolex AD for a watch that I have been trying to get for the last 1.5 years. Immediately went and paid for the watch. Will be getting it next week.

Its a Rolex oyster Perpetual 41mm in Silver

Finally got some thick leather for this boi.

The previous stock spring bars were bent after being on a NATO forever. Was a pain to remove.
The additional trauma seen here is from trying to straighten it later.

Took me quite some time of not buying gifts for myself and saving up to get this man. I was quite focused on it.

And then the global shortage hit really hard. Prices went up by around 10% every year...and took quite a while to get one from the AD.
