This came up on the Google Feed today from nowhere! Cut a profound reminiscence. Recall getting this for as little as 1500 back in early 2010 era (lower for non mint condition), but still didn't choose it due to the trash movement. And now.... The most obvious can happen when people stop using brains, hype hype and only hype.

Guys have you got any recommendations for getting a genuine HMT pilot. There are some listings on Amazon but I am not confident about them. I also checked the hmt official site(https://www.hmtwatches.in/) but couldn't find one there.

Avoid Amazon and eBay, they are mostly franken-ed watches. If you are in Bangalore, just walk into their Jalahalli showroom, they usually have a couple in stock.

Besides the official site, there are quite a few Facebook/Whatsapp groups where you'll see them coming up often (at inflated prices)

And then the global shortage hit really hard. Prices went up by around 10% every year...and took quite a while to get one from the AD.
It's expected for the interested party to gather an idea of the purchase price alongside the item. I mean I know, but others may want to. It's easier too, than beating around the bush.
