The Indian Audiophile Forum - TIAF by Headphonezone , the acceptance rate is little slow into this. Not for elite class, all kinds of audio/music lovers are present

You can also try this group , https://www.facebook.com/groups/188063632832221/about . Lesser audience , but still a decent group.
you have theaudiostore , goldfinchacoustics , conceptkart ... these are some i could think right off the bat and have purchased from them
And the age old Hifinage too.

Thanks. Yet another group I sent request to join. It's feeling like begging now. Worst thing is these all are on Facebook, which I strictly detest!
The Indian Audiophile Group has not had a new member in past two weeks. Probably they approve on a monthly or quarterly basis, who knows! I've even sent DM to Somani and some other guy. Anyhow, bought a cheapo M20x from headphonezone for the time being.

I saw in FB someone selling a month old m50x for 6500rs, can share link if you're interested.
Also be careful while buying stuff without warranty in FB groups like pre loved audiophile group. I received a dongle dac/amp whose USB port failed few weeks after buying

Thanks man, but I was never interested in the M50x. I bought it back in 2015 itself but returned (back when returning products after using them was a thing on Amazon). It was too bass heavy for me. Then I tried the M40x, which I liked much better (in respect of bass alone) but that too I returned because I needed some dynamism in the audio. So settled for 770s afterwards.
Besides, I will not buy any headphones which have several of those hinges, earcup swivelling all around and all that flexibility/portability crap, those are weak points and will break. That's why I chose the M20x, its earcups are fixed. I wanted the M30x though but couldn't find anyone selling a pre-owned. I bought the M20 from headphonezone pre-owned section btw for 3200. It 'looked like' in really great shape. I'll use this for few months only before I can make permanent upgrade after accumulating enough funds.

Any one has any idea of the indiq audio controversy that happened in hifivision?
Anyone owns the Indiq audio speakers? I'd like to hear your reviews.

That's really unfortunate, however that's the risk associated with used electronics outside warranty regardless of the platform. Been a longtime member of the PLGS group and dealt quiet a bit, every guy I dealt with has been genuine and majority have become good friends.

There have been some issues on various fronts there and probably the reason for slowness. However regardless before too the speed of acceptance was very slow. Audiomania group is owned by an enthusiast/reviewer so hopefully you won't face any issues getting in.

Rainy evening here. Staying indoors and powering up some of my retro audio equipment at home...

I got my headphone from there too and the guy who sold me was very good. There are so many good deals but one needs to verify the condition before purchasing instead of blindly trusting like i did.

What's a good pair of earphones (wired) within 1500 nowadays? Must be durable and have good sound, good meaning flat, not bass heavy at all. Back in days used Senn cx180, Creative 630 ep and they both sounded fine to me but gave them away to friends. Anything like them but with up to date drivers and more durability? Would prefer simple L shaped design, you know those which go in straight into ears (unlike the Shure 215 type which goes over and around the ears) and most definitely would prefer non chifi experience.

Started my journey with the ATH M50X as well, still have it after a mod and a repair. Got the 6xx after that and used it with the objective amp for the longest duration. IMHO the 6xx + objective amp + SDAC is where the law of diminishing return starts but rest assured you will have many solid years before you even try to upgrade.
what amp + DAC are you using for the 6xx? I am driving the 6xx now with the topping D50s + A50s and works out pretty good.
free bump.

iFi Zen Dac Air + iFi Zen Can, but I want to upgrade to A50 + D50. I think that's where I will stop too. Though I might get a 560s too, I have only heard good things about that one.

Guys recently have got a mac mini and ps5
Both are hooked to a Lg monitor

Can anyone suggest a decent speaker for gaming and watching movies
Have z623
Can go upto 40k

My Hifiman HE400i ver. 2020's left driver has gone kaput after 13months of use. I had registered for extended warranty for the same but any idea how to go about claiming the same? I have emailed their customer service email for now, anything else I need to do?

EDIT: Maxing out the volume on my amp (xDuoo MT-602) seems to have brought it back, but there's some bass distortion in the left driver at higher volumes so will see if I can get it warrantied regardless

active or passive speaker?

logitech are good for gaming but not for music neither for movies.

for an active stereo setup you could pickup the JBL LSR being sold here itself for a terrific price for the pair.
other options are Kali audio, pre sonus, Swans, Micca PB42, hivi, edifier.

for passive setup you need an amp + speakers, starting amps on the like of ( leaf audio, DNM, Topping, Norge, Cambridge audio etc etc) + passive speakers ( Micca, Norge, Polk, Elac, Wharfdale, yamaha etc etc ).

Where did you purchase it from ? Maybe check with them if they can help you avail the RMA for the extended warranty.
