The outer surround rubber rings on all my Logitech Z-5500D satellite speakers had all deteriorated and I had kept the set in cold storage for about a year. After shifting to my new house in April this year I decided to get the speakers setup once again with my gaming PC in stereo mode. Finally got around to replacing the satellites completely and got a pair of MICCA-42 and connected them with the Z-5500:
This is how the default old satellite speakers look now after many years of use:
After swapping the above satellite speakers and connecting the MICCA MB42 (Power Handling: 75Watts, Impedance: 4-8 Ohms) to the connection terminals behind the sub-woofer:
Tested it with fresh AmazonBasics 16-Gauge speaker wire and the MICCAs worked perfectly without any hiccups.
And all setup on my gaming desk:
The MICCAs actually sound better than the default satellites. Clearer vocals and sound more engaging. Also, set in Stereo/ Stereo X2 through the Control Pod the Z-5500 sound perfect for gaming.
(I might get another set of MB42's and a MICCA MB42-C Center Speaker and set it up in 5.1 mode).
Feels good to breathe new life into my good ol' Z-5500. Such a legendary set this one

Pro max to pro would mean a dip in battery life.
What made you choose pro instead of pro max (apart from money)?

Actually no. Battery life on Apple phones improved drastically from 13 series where they increased thickness of phone for bigger battery. See these official specs:
11 pro max battery life:

Congratulations on Airpods Pro 2. Btw, Can you DM me. There is one issue that I see with airpods pro 2 and MS Teams. DM me if you too use Teams.
PS: Turn off spatial audio for apple music. It destroys the audio quality. For YT/Netflix etc, it is amazing.

Would you like to prevent that from happening? Apply a thin or tiny amount of silicon grease and just spread it around with your fingers. Once a year.
I tested this on a bathroom plunger and it seems to keep the rubber from cracking.

Palm pain; having an average size palm, it was often uncomfortable when used one handed. Simple grabbing of phone also made it discomforting. About the battery dip: Fast charger, 100% WFH, no worries
I am using wired mostly with M365, sometimes sony XM3. Today I used my old 1st gen AirPods today on a zoom call and worked fine.
Yes, spatial audio ruins the bass also.

Are these better and more comfortable than the LunarLon series? Am spoilt by the comfort, it is hard to find a replacement.
