Do put my name and leave me the card in your will...you know for when your wife finds out :p

Yeah you're looking at a brand new PC at this point. If you're into gaming more than multithreaded rendering work, just get a x3D CPU - it will last a loooong time.

Someone on reddit just received their 3080Ti, brand new and factory sealed, but imported all the way back in March 2022. Looks like someone was sitting on the stock hoping for another crypto boom.

Does warranty start from bill date or import date?

that’s

Delivered today, dusty box, april 2022 import, sealed box the cover. Runs just fine.

I got it for 52k after card discount. What is the normal retail price for a 3080ti, 85k?

Is it still possible to find an rx580 that has not been used in mining??? Or I'm better of with any other GPUs???
every 580 you find is atleast 5-6 yr old.
try the chinese sp 2048 ones, atleast they have everything new except the die.
Alternatively get a second hand 1660/super,1650 super.

Have you contacted the RMA company for the warranty support? Wanted to know how msi is supporting their Radeon ones tho. Was looking into getting 6800xt

Vedant is not a scammer like Flipkart. The card is probably a newer import. One can buy and not worry about receiving a brick or a 2021 import. It will have full 3 years warranty unlike 1-2 years warranty from Flipkart.

i m running a 6700+ 5600 bought from flipkart.
i mean i wouldnt buy anything without open box delivery but i think people are really overreacting .
As for import , i have an aug date on gpu and bought it on march end so a 7month old card.
At this point if you are not getting warranty , its more to do with the brand than flipkart.
Edit - its sep, so 6 month old

I think a lot of people get scared by the no-return policy. What if you do receive a brick in the mail?

No one is overreacting. Flipkart has cancelled hundred of iphone orders in its last year sale. Then it happened with 6700xt. Then many received different items in the next sale, plenty of posts on facebook regarding that.
This time thankfully everything went fine.
Also, it doesn't matter if the warranty is not available because of Flipkart or because of seller.
The point is, warranty is surely available, but from the import date only for any 2023 bought card unless the card is imported just 3-4 months back.
Zotac has confirmed it from their official mail and has clearly mentioned a buffer of 90 days otherwise no extended warranty will be given. Other brands do not have extended warranty so buyers are still in dark.
It is upto a buyer to decide according to the import date he gets if the card is worth the price or not.

You can choose open box delivery and reject the brick.

of course, thats a legitimate reason, but what i dont get is how can someone open a ryzen processor and not differentiate between 5600 and 5600g.
the box literally says Radeon Graphics inside.
Now they have initiated return for the third time and after that they are not allowing anymore returns claiming both the products are same, even tho they have different product pages for these.
This here is an "Scammer" behaviour.

yesterday,i saw a guy on reddit saying he bought a pixel and its getting heated around 45C and wants fliokart to return it. First of all its a known issue, Second when has any retailer refunded you on the basis of a product`s quality.
the most they do is put you in contact with cc.

this order cancelling thing has happened a lot of times in e commerce, but yeah this is a genuine problem on flipkart.
not in the magnitude of "Scam".
i dont know about zotac but i have confirmed from sapphire myself.

And if zotac has declared no extended warranty on cards with import buffer of 90 days, Then the consumer should check the date and if its older return / not accept the gpu.
Anyways this is just a cheap tactic from Zotac. i can understand not giving extend warr on cards older than 1year,but 90 days.
They should also advertise this in their cards, let everyone know where they stand.
i dont think you can really blame any retailer for this
I mean yea you obviously won't receive a literal brick.
Do I just make the delivery guy wait until I test the GPU?
no you just check it physically.

Ok, so what if the card is top-notch quality physically and I accept the delivery then I pop it in my PC and it doesn't work then what? I'm just f***ed?
