Graphic Cards GPU pricing trends

Ok, so what if the card is top-notch quality physically and I accept the delivery then I pop it in my PC and it doesn't work then what? I'm just f***ed?
they have known to allow replacement in this case sometimes(someone got one faulty fan on a gpu and they replaced)
but u may also have to go for rma.

Well, that's reassuring. So why doesn't Flipkart have a replace-only thing on the product page like Amazon that would give people a lot more confidence to buy from Flipkart.
 
this order cancelling thing has happened a lot of times in e commerce, but yeah this is a genuine problem on flipkart.
The order of magnitude is way higher on Flipkart.

Then what is a scam? You take orders for hundred of products you don't have, collect money then cancel it for no reason. If a buyer receives a faulty product then you mention 'no return clause' to make them run behind brands.
And if zotac has declared no extended warranty on cards with import buffer of 90 days, Then the consumer should check the date and if its older return / not accept the gpu.
This is not with Zotac only. Zotac has mentioned it because people are mailing them for extended warranty. I confirmed from a few shops and in 2023 this is same with almost all brands except Sapphire I think but it's Rma support can't come close to excellent support Zotac offers.
Anyways this is just a cheap tactic from Zotac. i can understand not giving extend warr on cards older than 1year,but 90 days.
This is probably an agreement between brands and dealers. That's why ZOTAC said " we are giving our dealers a buffer of 90 days". The dealers are to be blamed here for not adhering to the terms and conditions. Such agreements happen based on how many products are sold in the market and in what time.
They should also advertise this in their cards, let everyone know where they stand.
They stand by their extended warranty, excellent support and the largest GPU stock for replacements.

Yes, you can blame a retailer. They must have been informed about this that is why Zotac is replying from its official email and mentioning this.

i personally dont consider cancelling a product and refunding within 24hrs a scam, since this has been done to me a lot of times including fk, amazon and even some pc retailers.

i didnt know zotac has made this clear to the retailers.what happens in case you buy a gpu from offline retailers and its more than 90 days old, do u not get extended warr in this case too? what other brands give extended warranty?
soneone mentioned gigabyte, but i didnt get any on my 1650 super bought in 2020

Okay, I don't think it is always 24 hours though. Sometimes they cancelled after a few days and refund takes a few days too. The porblem is, when people face an issue, the Flipkart support vanishes especially for expensive products.

There was a longer buffer in 2020 so no, pc studio didn't scam you. You have to register the card yourself to get an extended warranty. I think there is a limit of 30 days from the billing date in every brand.

Yup, flipkart support has gone downhill ever since walmart came.into picture.

i remember registering it within a day or two of getting it.
maybe this one didnt have that extended warranty, coz i didnt see it in any marketing material at that time or even the product page .

Anyways,this 90 day policy is very anti consumer, specially considering they are selling something that has 36months base warranty.

It might be their "policy", but I don't see how it can be enforced on you since you never agreed to it. If sales page doesn't mention all those policies, it is simply not legal. Warranty should start from billing/delivery date as agreed upon, not an arbitrary import date which is not mentioned anywhere before the sale.

but i cant find anything regarding extended warranty including the info on the box

not telling the wife tho. Did not budget for a 50k GPUs the same month I bought an iPad.

Will need to buy a new cpu and psu also right? Current running a 2700x on a MSI b450 tomahawk with a 550w psu. Any Fk deals on these?
