Amazon India lightning deals

Phones prices in the current sale feel like a slap on the face..
The farce they went through of hiding the sale price with ---99/- and then finally revealing it to be the exact same as the prices have been the whole damn year!
Also the steal deals of ₹1 discount for Prime members.

Not a deal but is this a good enough mic? I use a Maono AU-400 (mic broke needs replacement). Main usage is Meetings, Discord banter and In-game (Mic always on) chat. Have RTX Broadcast.

Those are again all the places where costs are cut. WD SN570 has only 12 GB dedicated cache and no hardware encryption compared to a 980 which has 160 GB dynamic cache for 1TB capacity with hardware encryption, which works better for daily use cases, unless you fill up the capacity. Then there is the quality of the NAND cell itself and the controller.

If you are using a SATA drive especially, then the non-cache speed drops to 200 MBps or less.
It is recommended not to use hardware based encryption on ssd anyway as these are proved to be too easy to break in the past. Just stick to MS own bitlocker without hardware encryption option or veracrypt. Practical difference between performance of software based & hardware based encryption is not noticeable once the device is fully encrypted for the first time. WD SN570 post cache speed is still around 600MB/s so unless there is another NVMe drive like it/better in the system that is more than enough.

Sata drives like BX500 post cache speed drops to usb 2.0 level 50MB/s.

Exactly, i had XPG S40G RGB in my cart and price jumped from 15k to 17k, fed up and ordered it from MDComputers for 9k
Unless you really needed rgb, WD SN850x or Kingston KC3000 blow this ssd out of water while being cheaper.
When i searched for 2TB ssd or 2TB nvme i couldn't find their search show this listing
I think he was talking about 1TB model(on mdcomputers).

I don't even search the individual small sites anymore. If I want to check alternatives to Amazon, here's what I use in Google. You can set this up as a custom search engine in your browser:

(site:mdcomputers.in OR site:vishalperipherals.in OR site:nationalpc.in OR site:primeabgb.com OR site:theitdepot.com OR site:ezpzsolutions.in OR site:clarioncomputers.in OR site:pcstudio.in) "product to be searched for"

Put this in URL

Guys, stop discussing products and only keep this thread for deals. I have 10+ notifications in the last 2 hours for this thread but none of them were deals.
Unfortunately it's complicated. For example, you don't want to spend on some deal which looks quite good on the surface but not in reality or it may be that the deal which looks good in price may not remain good to some users once some additional info/background about that deal/product is revealed. A better option would be, I don't know if it is possible, that deal posts here should be tagged with some exclusive tag/identifier & notification system catch only that identifier/tag for posts in this thread.
