Tried KGB archiver but it is very slow and does not make use of more than 1 core........

Does it make use of more than one core for compression.... I have very large files and a quad core processor. So unless the compression program makes use of all the 4 cores, It will take a very long time for me.

Is there any compression software which makes maximum use of multiple cores on a system and also gives good compression ratio?? tried Winrar but it has low compression ratio.....

I found out that even new items on ebay cost less than the actual price one has to pay while buying an item from shop or an online store. Whats the mystery behind this? If i buy an item from there, is there any chance of getting foxed.......???

I bought a DVI-D cable for samsung 2033 sw but Now I don't get any signal on the monitor totally........ Used my old dvi-vga convertor and the signal was back....... Can anyone tell me how to use the cable to get Digital signal because the analog signal is not very good...... I have Sapphire...

The heat problem usually also depends on the manufacturer of the card......... Mine is sapphire...It is cheap one(Rs.6800) so heat might be an issue... Also I am concerned because some of my friends having Nvidia cards report idle temperatures of max 45C while mine touches 55C easily and 10C...

My Sapphire HD 4850 is running at 52C at idle and almost 80C when at load. I think it's too hot.......... What cooling solution is available for HD 4850 to reduce the temperature...???
