Budget 51-70k PC more than good enough for most use cases like editing, moderate gaming, programing

"CPU cooler will work fine, just with no RGB because your motherboard doesn't have addressable RGB header.
As for the case, you'll need a fan hub that works with 3 pin fans that are controlled by adjusting voltage. Your motherboard only has 2 4 pin (PWM) fan headers, which means it won't work (as in there aren't enough headers)"
Got this reply from reddit.

Did he mean mobo got 2 headers instead of required 3 headers for 3 fans. 3 fans of cabinet are connected to a single connection. So is it possible. Or what he meant is that header on motherboard (2 x 4 pin chassis fan header) itself is not compatible with case fan pin(3pin).

Mobo got rgb header only, which on googling seems incompatible with argb. Is it correct. So that means for both power and rgb control I need to buy more items. Can somebody point to something inexpensive to do this job well.

Is this happening because motherboard is old generation type. Or this cabinet is not the regular type.

Also mobo and ram replacement period ends today

3 pin fans will fit into a 4 pin socket only they may not be pwm controlled.

The fans in your case are CF120 ARGB - according to the CM website - and they use a 5v 3 pin ARGB connector.
Your motherboard supports 12v argb strips, so it's not compatible with your case fans RGB, but you can use the 4 pin fan headers to run your 3 pin fans, just don't connect the RGB.

If your motherboard is getting replaced/refunded, then see if you can upgrade the model. May as well spend more on a new board that supports the features you want instead of paying for an unknown brands rgb hub.

If not, then the following hub will power your lights -

And the following cable will power your fans -
Or just buy new RGB fans with a controller, and sell your old fans off.

@ch@ts this might sound dumb as I don't know what this is all about.
What I understand is both cpu and case fans are argb. But mobo support rgb only. So lights won't lit up but fans can be functional. Though fans cannot be controlled with pwm. Which I assume is not necessary.

Mobo diagram is attached. I don't want to spent more on this setup. So If I can work all the fans without light. That's fine. Is that possible.

The fans will light up - I think - but you won't be able to control the lights through the motherboard.
And you also probably won't be able to control the fan speed - not necessary as long as they aren't too noisy.
You can get your CPU fan, and 2 case fans working without buying anything more.
Have you assembled your computer yet, or are you waiting to hear back from Amazon?

So how to connect 3 pin power of cpu and case fan to mobo's 4 pin. Is it through cpu_fan and cha_fan2 on mobo. But that is not also not compatible right.

I intend to assemble today as this is the last day of the 7 day replacement period for mobo &ram. But this whole fan issue got me confused and I'm not able to do it.

I don't want to burn everything down.

You mentioned 2 case fans. Cabinet comes with a single joint for all 3 fans.

Refer to that for how to plug in the fans.
Don't plug in the case fans initially. First let your system boot up and check that every component is working.
It's good that you have that fan connector. You don't have to use it, you can plug the fans directly into the motherboard. I'd use the connector to connect 2 case fans, while plugging the 3rd directly into the motherboard.

Thanks a lot @ch@ts

So I get it. 4th pin in mobo is pwm which is not necessary as the cooler master case fan has got only 3 pins and they are not intended to be controlled by the manufacturer.
Correction: Deepcool cpu fan is 4 pin

But to control lights I need an adapter as rgb header in mobo is 12 v but case and cpu fan connecter is 5v argb standard.

Pin, header, connector is all confusing to me. Which stands for what

Yeah i yanked too hard trying to remove a 2 pin cable used to power a led strip in the front of the case it burned up which I removed after I got the smell not long after turning on the pc, i don't think my case can damage the motherboard as it was directly powered by the psu but it definitely has short-circuited/burned the connection between the cable and psu, psu itself works fine for now

Msi a650bn power supply Comes with 16amp power plug. I don't have that in my apartment. 16amp to 6amp adapter solve this?

Ok assembled the whole system and is working fine. Registered warranty for Asus mobo and zotac gfx. In they're website it's written 2 year extended warranty on registering the product within 28 days of purchase. Some error is showing on registering wd sn770.

All 3 case fans and Deepcool ag400 is working but no lights. Usb c and usb a on front panel jointly connected to a connector that can plug into usb 3.1 gen 2 port on mobo. Albeit it's working on that speed without any fast charging capability.

What all I need to check now, if it is all properly seated, temperatures, any hidden issue. What tests needs to be done.

Thank you all for your valuable suggestions and prompt replies. That made it a lot more easier. Keep up the good work guys. Lots of love

got this one. 3meter

Buy a key here instead, make sure its a retail one by typing in slmgr -dli in cmd prompt. It will say if its a volume license or retail. This is important because volume licenses can be revoked by Microsoft when they reach a limit but not retail as they are single use only. Once confirming its retail go sign in your Microsoft account (if not already done) and check if it says "Windows is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account" in Activation page in windows settings. Now you can install it however many times you want and you will just have to login to your Microsoft account to activate it.
