Linksys LN1301 - Group Buy from US

Anyone using this in bridge mode? Is it working fine?

I'm having a strange issue.. whenever internet is up after down for sometime, this router does not work in bridge mode, keep saying no internet. Only way to restore internet is, login to router admin page, set to DHCP mode, wait for settings to take effect Then again change back to bridge mode and save. Then its working fine.
Working fine here, post your config. Hide relevant things

/etc/config/network
/etc/config/dhcp
/etc/config/firewall
/etc/config/wireless

works fine, no issues in bridge mode using from last 10 days no challenges , my setup is simple :
1. I have both my main and node connected to Airtel router directly via ethernet backhaul
2. Have static Ip's assigned directly to both from Airtel router
3. Blue light glows on both units once connected , did not face any connection drop or issues,
4. Have restarted airtel router multiple times and everything comes back the way it is.

Make sure you have static ip assigned to both Primary and node from your main router which is controlling DHCP. Also i am not usling LN1301 i am using MX4200C that comes with default firmware where everything works out of the box.

In linksys firmware bridgemode option does not allow to enter static IP right?

Once you assign them static IP, even if main broadband router restarts or power comes and goes, once internet is back, they should be back online and would work without any additonal steps.
For other routers/access points i've used so far does not have this issue. Even this router works fine if i keep it in router mode(DHCP or Static in linksys itself). Only in bridge mode when main router restarts, i had to change to DHCP, then again to Bridge mode, again this is not always happening :(. For now set static IP in my main router for this node, will monitor and update.

@smnrock I have two units in bridge mode and it works well, never had to do any tinkering specific to bridge mode. I did have static DHCP reservation in place from the very beginning.

The only issue that I saw is, once it established a wireless backhaul link with the secondary instead of using the wired backhaul. This was after an extended power cut. I noticed some slowness, and when I checked the Linksys app, it showed that its connected over wireless. I rebooted the secondary node, and it went back to wired backhaul. Not sure what triggered the issue, haven't seen it since.

Mikrotik router does assign same IP to the particular client even if i dont make it static. In any case, I did make static now, will continue to monitor. Actually after your post i realized, even i got the issue only after extended outage.

Couple of days before airtel VOIP stopped working due to some settings change from their side. So i had to connect back airtel ONT for raising complaint and they took three days to resolve this. This issue occurred when i connected back mikrotik and linksys after three days. Last month also similar experience when i powered off the linksys for couple of days due to travel.

Received my MX4200 from ibhejo 7500/ for 2 . Now waiting for LN1301 from Anmol
Edit - Added Dimensions . These are huge

Here is the wall mount 3d model I’ve used. I printed just the mount file since I need to mount upside down from the ceiling. The mount has 4 holes, with which it can be fixed on the roof, and router base just slides in.

If you don’t have a 3d printer, you can use any of online services like robu.in
