Its not an original screen, thats why. One of my friend's SE K550i's screen broke, and after inquiry, the original one costs 3k, so went with non branded one for 700/- but its more like an X-ray screen. Very hard to read black texts and colours are like washed away.

Upgrade your RAM. 4GB wont suffice an i5 2500k and a GTX 560 Ti. 8GB would be ideal, so that games wont have to run short of memory. And do use 64 bit OS after the upgrade.

^^ blank pcbs can be bought at electronics shops, where we buy ICs, caps and the likes, usually sold for students/electricians for DIY projects like music/alarm and small amplifiers etc. Seen them with my electronics engineering buddies.
