You should get anywhere around 50-55C @ stock settings with new TIM and such good air cooler. The curing time is somewhat 200 Hrs for Antec / Arctic compounds. But still your temperature is way high. Although, I can't comment on exhaust - inflow air setup. Experienced users will comment on it.

TDP seems excellent, however pricing is a bit letdown.

@OP, if you can wait till Kepler launches then i believe AMD prices will take a dip with much better cost to performance ratio. I hope that's worth the wait. else, take my GTX 560ti TF II @ 10.5k It beats 6850, 7770. 6790 too .

My Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo keeps my stock Core i5 2500k @29-32C at Normal usage and @ 49-50C under 100% load - Prime95 stress test for 30 mins, and tested by "MediaCoder x64" too.. Not sure if it'll help heavy overclocking. But @ >2k, its best =D

Sorry to bump old thread, I got new 4GB module , new Cooler master Elite 410 cabinet..... GPU idles at 26-28C , Max Temp - 65C .. I couldn't be more happy :) Getting more components for CPU and GPU to run it more cool.
