^ not really as crysis 2 at 1080p, all ultra requires 2 GPUs for smooth performance. Also BF3 at ultra settings is a killer if I go by the beta performance. Also DICE have been on record saying that the final game will ship with more effects at ultra setting, so I expect two GPUs will be needed...

op if you plan on getting a ssd, then you are better off buying a fast small capacity ssd, and a large HDD. This is still the recommended config and will beat the socks off any ssd caching tech.
