    #mjumrani Format the drive to NTFS. Data will still be there as long as it's not overwritten. Use GetBackData for NTFS. It may run for hours to build the MBR file list. After it get's completed, you can see the file list and can recover it.

    #benryu I too had faced the same problem with my old PC. I downloaded Hiren's boot CD and made it bootable through USB drive. There are many tools which can aid you. My fix was to use the "Fix missing NTLDR option". Before that i had a run a HD test utility and it found 2/3 error sectors too.

    Suggest any real BB unlimited plans i.e. without the FUP in Noida. Can spend upto 2k per month. Even if the FUP speed is ateast 1 Mbps, it would be fine. Apologies if a thread already exists.
