Get a HD 6770 >> 6670 . 6670 - most games at medium - high settings at 1366x768 6770 - most games at High - Ultra settings at 1366 x 768 ( Good option if your PSU can handle it )

Perhaps a Bulldozer with 8 core might help you than SB series.

Mate 4670 is fine too, if u get it at 3k , else HD 5670 , dont look for anything else other than these cards.

I've personally tested the Philips 23" monitor, good sharpness, good contrast ratio, good connectivity options, Light weight, Color accuracy etc. However, monitor doesn't produce deeper blacks like Samsung PX2370. But overall good quality. Perhaps the 27" would be the same quality :)
