    If SNR comes below 10, get the telephone line checked for dry joints, request a pair change from Telephone exchange, change ADSL splitter. If no improvement try another modem with its original power adapter.

    ^ That is too long, it should not take more than 2 minute. You can check the SNR & Attenuation from router ADMIN by visiting 192.168.1.1 in browser. Login as admin, password=password/ blank. The gateway 192.168.1.1 could be different, check for the same in ethernet adapter TCP/IP settings.

    ^ I have 750 UL 512kbps UL, Speed was 1Mbps for 6GB in first week of the month but now again bumped back to 1Mbps within same month. Seems like some kind of testing going on.
