Yea mate...it worked fine on my XP SP2 and Vista SP1. Now utilization is around 1-5% (Earlier was around 24-40%) while HD playback. But only problem is that it is not that smooth while seeking in player. My Config: E2140 (at 2.8GHz) and EVGA 8800GT

At least 400W rated PSU (Gigabyte, VIP, Cooler Master etc) is must for 8600GT.

You don't need to upgrade except GPU (therfore PSU too) I will recond: GPU: ASUS 4870 GDDR5 1GB Overcolcked Version PSU: CORSAIR 620HX (Will be difficult to import..so need to look in Indian Market)

Honestly speaking ...difficult to upgrade the mob in that price range. For Intel config..you don't have great offering in terms of inbuilt IGP. If you will find some mob, then it is not going to boost the graphics performance from your current mob. Best Option is (Bioster TP35 + ATI 3450) but...

In simple terms ...Intel is one generation ahead of AMD in production of these processor technology.

Understand the fact that you need a motherboard without IGP as you already having a 8800GT. You have only two options in 4k+ range, i.e, ABIT IP35P or BIOSTER TP35. Both are on par as you are not going to overclock.

@greenhorn: In same price range AMD X2 with 690G (better IGP) is better option. @Main Topic: Intel E2140 + Palit/Zotac nForce 610i/GeForce 7050 based mob should also be under 5K.

ASUS 780G Chipset (Priced under 5K) based motherboard is solution for you as in case of intel c2d rig..you would have to add an extra gfx card.

M2N-MX is based on NVIDIA GeForce 6100 + nForce 430, therefore not recommended. AMD X2 4000 + Jetway AMD 690G Mob should be under 5K :) as the other members have already suggested for the same.
