Hey hi Sudeepta Hey I would recommend to re-install the OS if you are using XP, I suppose some drivers are missing. Try with a genuine copy of OS. i have seen the same kind of problem but fixed with a genuine copy of XP. Also check your compatibility with XP or Vista.:hap2:

Hey if budget is your real constraint then you can look for Acer laptops aspire series. HCL laptops are good but not great in terms of configurations,looks and performance. So choose carefully before purchasing one.:hap2:

I guess if you are getting a laptop from India go for Acer 5738g as it provides more flexibility in the use like you can play games at HD and do office work at the same time and gives you more than 4-5 hours of battery back-up. I heard it even has a optional blue-ray disc drive.:hap2:

If you are planning to sell it anything above 10k is good. Though it would be rare, I would recommend anything above 8k is fair deal. Can you tell us what is wrong with your laptop?
