7600GS + X2 3800 won't be able to let you game at high settings because your gpu will be an insane bottleneck to your cpu.

These hdd and ram modules are probably only sata I/II and DDR 400. Does you comp have sata ports or even DDR ram slots, since it seems pretty old.

Painkiller was very cpu intensive I think when it was released. A minimum requirement of 1.5ghz was not low in yr 2003 or 2004.
