Building a gaming pc for first time for 1440p / upscaled 4k

Hi folks, I am very new to PC building. I am building something which can game well on my LG C2 TV or a 1440p high refresh monitor. I assume the TV should be fine even with upscaling as we sit quite a bit away from it so just targeting 1440p would be fine for this. My narrowed down GPU options are RTX 5070ti or 9070XT. My total budget for this build is under 2L, and it should last me atleast 5-6 years.

The only component I have is this SSD https://www.amazon.in/dp/B093DNV47J?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_3 which I got for my PS5 but I can transfer to my PC as the PS5 is not being used that much.

I found a few builds in pcpricetracker which can serve as a starting point but would appreciate any help.

Appreciate the help

Avoid MSI psu, would recommend Corsair rm850x

which monitors are you considering?

How much more does that PSU cost? Also, is a Deepcool PSU a good alternative for the build?

Model number? @gtx10606gig

Yes DeepCool IG the PN seires is A tier and also if u want A+ can consider super flower any model.(PQ series not the PN)

Pm850D is the model number iirc

U can get the Corsair around 10-11k. I recommended Corsair coz it’s presence in India and after sales service. Cooler master is also a good alternative. Buy gold rated 80+ psu. Platinum 80+ is not worth the extra cost since the difference is like 1-3 percent.

Just fyi, bronze/silver/gold/platinum ratings are for power efficiency only & don’t confirm anything about the overall quality of the psu. A lower tier psu can have a higher tier power efficiency rating so always check the psu tier lists first.

and dont cheap out on cpu cooler get a AIO 240/360 worth every penny for performance

Or a good air cooler. many of which perform as good as - if not better than - 240 AIOs. AIOs need more maintenance and breakdown far easier.

If its the first time you’re building a PC, Period, then I would also agree to the above advice, a good air cooler is easier and cheaper to setup because it has less points of failure and less variables beyond your control where stuff could go south very quickly.
