rave I agree now that amount for the memory seems crazy…Rio be warned, vandy’s coming to goa soon!!!
@ OT I paid 16.2K for each of my 3200XL’s (corsair), those were TCCD’s, now I have 4 of them = 32.4K freakin crazy, I scared my folks too, when they came ta know..

You can see it in my Sig.

Whatevers missing, is kept same as the current D 820 rig that means :face_with_tongue: .

I know, it was an impulsive decision  DDR2-800 memory at the time was $350-400 so $510 for DDR2-1000 didn’t seem out of line… the thing is, quality DDR2-800 memory is just under $300 today, but DDR2-1000 is still expensive at $450-500. Either way, I’m hoping this Ballistix carries me a long way since I spent so much on it

^^You can get the Gskill’s(DDR2-800 GBHZ) for $230, and they go to 1000 Mhz pretty easily (yea i know, im rubbing it in :face_with_tongue: )

Actually no, I don’t regret buying the Ballistix - I know quality DDR2-800 kits are doing more than 1000mhz, and I’m waiting to see what this kit does when I pair it with Conroe

^^Other than that GSkill kit, most others are still arnd 300 or so… Considering that the kit you have is guaranteed 1GHz, I’d not say its a bad deal… especially if you intend to keep it for a while. Now get a good mobo for it :face_with_tongue: .

I still don’t get why GF posted the prices in $

Coz im getting most things from USA :face_with_tongue: .
