Hey Guys
I had recently purchased a Lenovo Thinkcentre M715Q from the myorderstore.com or Grania Computers.
Here is where it went wrong:
-
My fault: I was unaware of the distinction at the time of purchase, but the unit turned out to be Gen 1 and not Gen 2. There was neither a mention of generation on the store listing, nor the seller bothered to inform me at time of purchase (they communicate on whatsApp).
-
Seller’s fault: The website mentions that non-defective purchases can be returned within 10 days of delivery. I was contacting them on 4th day after delivery. Here is the return policy SS.
-
Seller’s fault: The website return page does not work. Clicking the “Submit” button makes the page reload. The return request does not show up in the dedicated account section.
-
Seller’s fault: I contacted the seller on WhatsApp regarding the return and he refused to accept any returns. Here is what I offered:
- I will pay the shipping costs+ any other deductions for packaging etc
- He mentioned they have exchange policy> I offered that I will buy a different unit and pay the price difference> he refused.
Overall, the seller seems to be least interested in solving customer problems and I expect similar response and shifting blame to customer if things go south.
The unit is lying untested and unused. I cannot comment on the defects in product.
