Noted Whatsapp Windows is displaying messages only for last 1 year (all messages before same are only available on phone as per there message.
Can others check/confirm this ? Tried to delete google backup, created new and installed whatsapp again, but same issue. .
So to my conclusion only messages from last 1 year can be synced to Whatsapp Web or Windows App !! (atleast on Windows 10 OS)

Same behavior, can not access messages older than 1 year on web.
If you want to see the older messages quickly, go to the specific contact and do export chat.

You won’t be able to import into official whatsapp.
But there are third party tools like this, which can show you your exported chat in conversation style like whatsapp.
I would not put my important chats in this directly.
What you can do is clone the repository to your PC, turn off the internet, run the site locally, once done reading, delete everything then turn your internet ON.
