The players get nothing from the transfer fee. Once a deal is agreed, the players negotiate on their salary and a percentage of their image rights, which is completely unrelated to the transfer fee. (Money from ads, sponsors, etc).
 
but the way transfer market is going this season i don't think we will be able to buy any famous player for 30 or even 40m which might just put off SAF :|

^^^ Now all the prices are inflated & with crazy wage demands, its all slowed down....similar to when chelsea started it few seasons back. Surprisingly, man citeh have been quiet.

Vermaelen is going to have his medical on Friday. haven't see him play at all ; 11M seems a bit high for us at this time :(

and Bayern are officially chasing Bosingwa. why does he want to leave after just 1 season :S

Chelsea are trying to see if they can tempt Bayern for Ribery in exchange for Bosingwa+cash :eek:hyeah:.

This is not due to the inflated marketz.

This is the premium on an English player.

For some reason Price of Player(English) = 1.5 x Price of Player(Foreign)

with talent being the same.
 
perez says Villa to Madrid is a matter of when than if. hey we should make a game 'Perez says'. first Ronaldo then Kaka and now Villa =(
