32 inch or bigger TV/monitor

Disciple
1. Budget: 20k-25k

2. Viewing distance: 8-9ft

3. Sources/inputs such as HD DTH/consoles/stand-alone media players etc: only HDMI will be used

4. Preference for plasma TV/LCD TV/LED-LCD TV: LED would be ideal but whatever panel tech is best for viewing content in this budget works

5. Preference for brands: Any that honour warranty/repair requests without too much hassle

7. Ambient lighting conditions of the room: Sunlit during the day, LED at night.

8. Any other feature you are looking for: looking for a 4k screen. Don't need any smart tv functionality but it's not a deal breaker, wouldn't mind buying used if it helps me get a better deal. Latency/pixel response times are not that big a concern.

Use case will be mostly content viewing and occasional point-and-click games on PC.

Buy a 43" 4K Samsung or LG TV for 28k or so, if you want a TV. Bigger screen size is better.

Monitors lack speakers & ones with speakers have a very shitty speakers that are much worse than any el cheapo 300-400 wired speakers (I have a Asus monitor with speakers).

I don't mind a bigger size, and I have speakers so that's not an issue either, but my budget is strict, so if there are tvs costing 25k-27k that could come under 25k with offers I'll take a look at those

You should be able to get those during coming BBD/GIS sale in Sep/Oct.

Buy Vu, Hisense or Xiaomi 43" 4K. See which of them have a service centre near you. Don't have high expectations from after sales. Avoid other small brands including TCL.

In the INR 25K to 28K there are several options from HiSense and Vu. I would personally stay away from some weird sounding brands.

In the budget mentioned, you could get a decent 43-inch 4K LED TV from Budget Brands ONLY.
As for Warranty, Service, and Installation, many buyers face issues in this category. From the comments on eCommerce platforms, it becomes apparent that buyers often regret buying budget brands if ANYTHING goes wrong.
In this budget, you have to make several compromises on the fringe elements mentioned above. Simply put, it feels like a lottery.

Will be using my 27" monitor as a stopgap solution temporarily while I wait for a sale, if anyone has any suggestions that could come to around 25k during BBD/GIS please let me know

Acer XV272U V3 is a VFM choice at 16-18k depending on sales, grab it ASAP as it goes OOS from time to time.

You don't need the ppi of 4K at 27" size IMO, but your views might vary.

PS - I use a 27" 1440p & 24" 1080p monitor along with a 48" 4K TV.

Lol sorry I meant I'll be using my own PC's primary monitor as a TV temporarily. I'm still looking for a full size TV

My bad

Wait for Durga Puja then. 43" 4K should again go for 20k from Hisense or Redmi
Any particular recommendations? I'll be taking a look at Flipkart's deals tonight
