Graphic Cards 3D Mark 03/05 score thread

not exactly easily, but i think more peacefuly coz it will run cooler, and hence wud oc a bit more, ull laugh ur A$$ off when u see the size of my default heatsink, mine is an OEM card, so it has only a puny little heatsink on top, try to search for a pic of card with oem heatsink ;)

and me getting Ati SIlencer Rev 3
 
Yup me too had thot tht, but results all over the reviews prove otherwise :cool2:

smetmes its just better to leave it to reviews than copper nd aluminium :rofl:

as rocky said i only got 3050, doubt that i ll go higher

core at 460 and mem at 370.
 
am sure i will be able to push the core more once i get the silencer, this is my current heatsink, lol...

but do try with cat 5.6, quite an improvement over the previous cats both in games and in scores

FPS rose from 75 to 100~105 in CSS after installing these new derivers and about 100 point rise in 3dm05 fro 2763 to 2873 on stock :)
 
@ rave,
I would sincerely suggest that you refrain from heavily o/c ing ur graphic card until you have installed the artic cooler.

I have seen many a 9800 pro killed bcuz of heat related damage.

its not only the gpu that can get damaged but the voltage regulators on the card too.
 
point taken Deejay, i was planning on the same, but the urge to cross 3k was over whelming... so now no more ocing till i get my silencer ;)

Maybe its because, r9800 pro 256MB come with DDR2 Ram opposed to DDR ram on 128MB version
 
lolol u guys think ur scores are good. i just saw this thread.

well check this fluke out on my pc just when 3dmark2k3 was out. was using a 9700pro, 1800xp 256mb ddr@266mhz. & guess what, my score on the futuremark site was 1000 points more than a 9800pro ocd & a 3.5ghz proc ocd. the whole site got dissed & it was down for 26hours, yes 26hours the futuremark site had gone down to fix this problem, there were some abusing me asking me how i did it. lol.

i think this is also there on toms or rage3d somewhere. lol it was too funny. here is 1 screenshot, i have some others also on my hdd.

i think the extra 128mb helps in the firefly test. i remember once i set the agp aperture size to 32mb in bios by mistake and my 3dmark score dropped by 1000 points.. looks like my card needs more memory
