lol.. i understand what u saying.. but i think i can cross that magic 5 figure mark even without exotic cooling, as long as i keep a check on the temp.. keeping the Mem clock constant and reducing the GPU clock by 10MHz, the score dropped by 50 pts or so (47 to be precise).. i was hoping a small 5MHz bump on GPU wud take me over 10k.. will test and post here :D

Lol, buying the cooler was just an inducement for you to spend ur saved / earned / hoarded money.:) not to be taken seriously :hap5: unless you would be regularly using that card @ that speeds.:cool2:
 
my hard borrowed money is stuck in dead investment.. so no buying any exotic stuff for now :D

besides, the main reason i want a better cooler for the GPU is coz the stock HSF makes a lotts noise. I am so tempted to disconnect the fan on that HSf.. but common sense prevailed.. :D
