With ATOM things should not be different. Give it a shot or download vista drivers for ur system. pardon me if i am wrong i have no clue about atom systems. (IF they are different!)

Gannu have you tried getting latest drivers from windows update?
wats the graphic adapter on your netbook?

^WTH? :S

@Party monger: It's not a netbook but rather the Atom 230 + D945GCLF board setup. Most recent drivers have been downloaded automatically and updated as well. Perhaps a more recent download of the release should work.
