thats pretty costly compared to freight forwarders in usa compare the rates yourself 5x costly , china to usa was pretty hassle free now it wont remain same
I don't want to seem like I'm advertising but there are 2 freight forwarders that I am currently aware of
Delivo/Bkicks - China and HK warehouse pricing to India (customs and door delivery all included) is 1450rs/kg. Their US warehouse is around 1650/kg. I think there's certian restrictions on some battery electronics but otherwise general stuff is allowed. What sucks though is they got annoyed like a year back or so with small parcels and just decided to charge every parcel as min 1kg
Then there's the chinese agents like superbuy. It's shipping calculator itself shows a few Indian users shipping items via ems through Superbuy (EMS expensive though compared to EUB and china post. Also when you consider that still likely have to pay customs once it reaches India compared to using a freight forwarder)
Fashionsoles - More towards shoes and clothing (1300rs/kg china warehouse) but does provide pics of the items at warehouse. I've recently seen someone purchasing some sort of japanese toy action figure rep and some anime figurines too. I think he charges based on actual weight of the parcel and not flat 1kg.
There's also some freight forwarders who do sea shipping for like 350rs/kg but no clarity whether that is only for clothing items or electronics too.
@raksrules has shipped lots of rep lego sets through such methods if I'm not wrong.
Personally I don't know what you guys keep buying from china, but if it's stuff like small electronic components which won't weigh more than 50gm or 100gm, but it's really important, I would just use a chinese agent (whichever one has the best coupons) and ship it through them. For small stuff lesser than a kilo it's not that expensive. Recently paid like 250rs on a 1kg parcel via an agent using EUB. But that was after a 1200rs free shipping coupon lol
