Amazon India - Feedback Thread

Had purchased an Logitech G100s gaming keyboard+mouse combo from amazon - 1 February 2015, and just kept it for future use. But When i found out it maybe "fake" as some members could not register it on Logitech Site, i tried to register it too with no luck. I sent an email to amazon and to my surprise they agreed to pickup the package from my place and give 100% refund.
I had purchased a Logitech UE6000 from ebay and tried to register it but my serial number wasn't recognised. Then it broke within an year and I claimed warranty from Logitech. They took back the headphones and refunded me the whole amount. So, the product might not be a fake but more likely a logitech issue.

Its not fake, its a logitech issue. I bought a G105 and G402 from Logotech back to back at the star of this year. Both had this weird issue where the serial number on the device would not match the serial number on the box. Logitech said the problem was at their side. So stopped bothering about it.
 
Got a "order successfully delivered" for my pendrive. But i didn't even receive the order. so to whom did amazon deliver it? :|
Also they apparently used Indian post. Its not like my address is located in the North Pole.
 
I have faced same issue .. I had order Spigen case its says Got Delivered .. but I never received it .. I think it must have miss placed ..

dude misplaced and non-delivery aren't even the same. did you pay upfront or COD? I paid with my card. I'm chatting with amazon now. needless to say i skipped my class for this. :@

You do know that indian post do not carefully handle packages right? shipment lost or damaged package frequently occurs with indian post. well not to say that private firms are the best (i had my fair share of bad experiences with them as well) but at least they are quicker than governmental courier.

^^ also check out what the indiapost tracking site says. those idiots use arbit statuses which confuse sellers; but experienced sellers like Amazon should already know.

i've had so many eBay cases where sellers would ask me to confirm delivery, because the indiapost site displayed messages like "Bag Received", "Bag Opened", "Item Checked"... LOL :D

these weird messages are generated when the postbags change hands from one post-office to another. dealers/sellers should already know this.
 
Just got my keyboard and mouse package. Delivered by Indian Post.
Not sure how much it was tortured but product seals were opened. You normally get a product in its sealed virgin form. Broken/opened/altered seal means the item's virginity has been defiled! Product box sides are torn. The box was inside a super large Amazon plastic bag. The bag is so large and so thin one can literally feel the inside. I guess thats how the seals were opened. No bubblewrap or styrofoam or any protection. The mouse has a light scratch on the top even though the items appear to be brand new. Amazon bag however was untouched. The hard logitech box must've protected the items inside. Phew.
I would post some images but i have no camera.
I'll test them tomorrow morning.

I can't wait to get the pendrive and see in what condition i get it.

Oh boy! Amazon you're screwed!
Got a wrong pendrive. And as if that wasn't enough the original pendrive was replaced. The cover is of SanDisk Ultra but i don't know what the new one is. I haven't opened it yet. The product package inside has been opened. Lots and lots of cellotapes plastered all over the package apparently to hide the fact that the order has been manipulated. Another weird thing is the pendrive body is placed with the back facing the cover and the cap of that pendrive is ON THE BACK of the package taped separately.
Item was sold and shipped by Cloudtail aka Amazon.

What now?

Package taped with thousands of meters of cello tape

I ordered a book last week, which was not shipped by seller and the order was canceled after 4 days.
Other seller is selling same book for 100Rs more.
When I complained, Amazon CC promised they will refund the price difference,
 
Ordered Oneplus 2 yesterday noon and it was delivered today at 7.30AM :)

Edit: Funny thing is, "Order details shared with the courier" shows up as 8.45AM yesterday. Much before I even ordered it.

An Amazon rep emailed me about my last order. "human error and technical issues. We will avoid it in the future etc" yes...yes...yes. A few days ago I was told that they would refund the return shipping charge to my bank account and today they said they couldn't and instead could either give me a gift card of equal value which will take 24-48hrs or send me a cheque which could take 7-8 days. Opted for the gift card and it was reflected in my account within a few hours.
I also placed an order for a Strontium 8GB Class 8 memory card sold by Cloudtail and fulfilled by Amazon to test their package and service this time. I hope Strontium storage products aren't bad. Tried to buy a Samsung card but the last few reviews of the product were horrible. I might continue using Amazon again afterall.
